Louis (Lou) Albenga brings more than two decades of leadership experience in financial services to his role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Ciccarelli Advisory Services. With a career that spans compliance oversight, operational management, and advisor support, Lou focuses on creating an environment where both clients and colleagues can thrive.
He is responsible for shaping and implementing the firm’s compliance and operations programs, ensuring that every policy, process, and detail supports clients’ best interests. Lou is committed to building systems that give advisors the freedom to focus on what matters most: helping families preserve and grow their wealth.
Before joining Ciccarelli Advisory Services, Lou served in senior compliance and management roles at national firms, where he oversaw large teams, guided branch operations, and developed training to enhance advisor and client experiences. He holds the Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation and a degree in Finance from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Outside the office, Lou and his wife, Michelle, enjoy traveling and road trips with their two Great Pyrenees dogs, Gracie and Miles. He also volunteers weekly at a tropical bird sanctuary, reflecting his dedication to community care.
