The "Forbes’ Best-in-State Women Advisors," “Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" and "Forbes' America's Top Women Wealth Advisors" rankings are based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data, rating thousands of wealth advisors with a minimum of seven years of experience and weighing factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and best practices learned through telephone and in-person interviews. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. No fee was exchanged for this ranking.
The rankings for “Barron’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors,” "Barron's Top 1000 Advisors" and "Barron's Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors" are based on qualitative criteria: professionals with a minimum of seven years financial service experience, acceptable compliance records, client retention reports and customer satisfaction reports. Advisors are quantitatively ranked based on varying types of revenues and assets advised by the financial professional, with weightings associated for each. Additional qualitative measures include: in depth interviews and discussions with senior management, peers and customers. Because an individual client’s portfolio performance varies and is typically unaudited, this ranking focused on customer satisfaction and quality of advice. “Barron’s Hall of Fame” is an award honoring advisors who have appeared in 10 or more of Barron’s annual Top 100 Advisor rankings.
