Chief Operations Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
With extensive management experience in the financial industry, Geral joined CAS in 2006 with an ideal foundation for her roles as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Geral oversees the firm’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions including technology, human resources, and investment operations, while ensuring the firm has policies and procedures in place to achieve compliance with applicable rules and regulations. As a key member of the leadership team, she plays a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the firm.
Geral’s motivating force is brought on by her strong desire to learn and implement positive change to the firm’s operations. She is most proud of the firm’s commitment to its clients. “The clients come first,” said Geral. “They are our family and as such we take great care of them.”
Geral graduated from SUNY Geneseo and holds her Series 7, 8, 24, and 66 licenses, as well as New York State life, accident, health, and variable annuity insurance license.
Geral lives in Palmyra, NY with her husband Scott. Other than her own family, her greatest joy was the weekly visits she spent for 8 years as a big sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Even though most of her free time is now focused on her three adorable grandchildren, she still stays in touch with her “little sister” who is now 22 years old and will soon be heading off to medical school.
